Die österreichische Eiskunstläuferin Eva Pawlik (4.10.1927 bis 31.7.1983) war

• Europameisterin 1949 vor der Weltmeisterin desselben Jahres,
• Vize-Olympiasiegerin und WM-Zweite 1948,
• vierfache Österreichische Meisterin (1946 bis 1949),
• lange Zeit wahrscheinlich der führende Eisrevue-Star Europas
  (als Einzelläuferin und als Paarläuferin gemeinsam mit ihrem Ehemann Rudi Seeliger),
• Filmschauspielerin und
• die erste Sportkommentatorin des deutschsprachigen Fernsehens.

The Austrian figure skater Eva Pawlik (born 4.10.1927, died 31.7.1983) was

• the 1949 European Champion (before the same year´s World Champion),
• the 1948 Olympic Silver Medalist and the 1948 World runner-up Champion,
• Austrian Champion four times running (from 1946 to 1949),
• probably Europe´s best show star on the ice for years
  (as a single skater and as a pair skater together with her husband Rudi Seeliger),
• an actress and
• the first female sportscaster in German speaking countries.

Eva Pawlik gehörte m Jahr 2009 alleine, im Jahr 2010 gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann und Eispartner Rudi Seeliger, posthum zu den Nominierten für die Wahl von neuen Mitgliedern der World Figure Skating Hall of Fame. Die Nominierten müssen immer sehr strenge Kriterien erfüllen, die von einem internationalen Wahlkomitee erstellt werden.

In 2009, Eva Pawlik was among the official nominees for the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame, in 2010 together with her partner and husband Rudi Seeliger. Nominees always represent an elite group of individuals who have to meet the stringent criteria established by the selection committee.
